Poland, where we have both new builds and resales for sale, has proudly retained its distinct culture throughout its turbulent history and offers visitors a tantalising mix of heritage, scenic beauty and a genuinely friendly welcome.

The country has a surprising array of natural assets with over 25% of the land being forest. The Bialowieza National Park is in fact one of the few last remaining primeval forests left in Europe and it is still possible to see bison roaming free there. There are sandy beaches along the 500 Km Baltic coast, the Mazurian and Pomerenian lake areas with hundreds of lakes between them, the rocky Tatras mountains, thermal spa areas, underground salt mines at Wieliczka and the Bieszczady mountains, which are popular for hiking.
There are many fascinating towns to visit which all serve as excellent bases from which to explore the surrounding countryside and attractions. The capital Warsaw inspires with its impressive regeneration. The beloved old capital of Krakow, on the Vistula river, which is held to be the soul of Poland now has its well preserved and atmospheric old town listed as an UNESCO world heritage sight. Wroclaw is a popular destination and is known as a mini Venice. Zakopane is the best known mountain resort just 2 hours from Krakow and caters for winter and summer visitors. Czestochowa, Poland’s spiritual centre attracts millions of pilgrims each year. Gdansk on the coast is renowned for its summer festivals.
Shopping is a pleasant activity in Poland with weekly outdoor markets in all areas. There is a strong tradition of jewellery making with highly skilled goldsmiths and silversmiths in abundance. Crystal is another quality product popular with visitors.
The climate is temperate with heavy winter snowfalls in the mountains ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. There are good flight connections both with scheduled and budget airlines.
